What Makes This Salad So Great For Bloat?
Melons of all kinds are great for health, and this salad combines the goodness of not just one but two, to pack a powerful punch of nutrients. Both melons and watermelons are high in water content, with as much as 92%, and that means they both help you get rid of excess water.
Cucumber offers you the same diuretic properties, and makes for the perfect addition to this salad for its freshness of taste as well. Parsley too is known for being the best natural cure for bloat, and works like the perfect diuretic agent to further remove all excess water your body has managed to retain.
Additionally, melons are also enriched with potassium, which helps to eliminate excess sodium from your body. And as we all know – sodium is the reason behind that bloat.
According to experts, a healthy balance between sodium and potassium is important when it comes to controlling bloat, and that is the biggest reason why this salad is an excellent choice when you want the ultimate belly-deflating fix.
Keep in mind that this salad is designed to beat the bloat by making you eliminate all the excess water from your system, which literally means more trips to the loo!
So tuck in, enjoy the taste, and find the perfect cure for those days when you feel bloated and crummy!
