This is not a contemporary pasta dish. It’s not loaded with tonnes of ingredients but is primarily focused on simple but wholesome flavours which are delicious and filling.
Ingredients
- ½ cup boiled pasta of your choice. I chose farfalle or bow-tie pasta since it looks cute!
- One cup blanched spinach
- 2 tablespoon of cream
- 3 cloves of chopped garlic
- 2 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 chopped white onion
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 2 cherry tomatoes, sliced into halves
- Salt and Pepper
This is How You Make It
Heat the pan and add the olive oil, chopped garlic, and onion and spinach sauté for 5 min on low flame. Add the cream, chicken stock, salt and pepper and simmer on low flame till the sauce is thick and creamy.
Place the boiled pasta in a bowl and toss with a spoonful of olive oil. Place the pasta on a plate and pour the sauce on top. Top it with cherry tomatoes for a tangy taste.
You can serve it with garlic bread or bruschetta. Don’t forget the glass of the red wine!
The dish looks amazingly delicious! I am shortly going to try it out. Thank you so much for the update I finally got to know another good way of cooking organic spinach that I have just bought from The Organic Garden.
