Aglio Olio Spaghetti with Prawns

If you feeling a bit lazy to hit the kitchen but still wish to eat well, you will love this exquisitely simple recipe.

These days I don’t feel like cooking much. Blame the weather or my mood, but I don’t want to spend more than 15 min in the kitchen. And I also don’t want takeout. Basically, I am craving delicious and homemade comfort food like this Aglio Olio Spaghetti with Prawns. To be honest, I can eat a large bowl of this dish every day. Not kidding, every day. It’s so soon! Psst..if you just finish the meal with some gelato, you will die happy. Trust me.

You will need:

  • 5 chopped birds eye chillies
  • 5 pieces of fresh jumbo / medium size prawns
  • Olive oil
  • 5 cloves of chopped garlic
  • 1 cup boiled spaghetti
  • 1 teaspoon chopped curly parsley

Method:

Dry the prawns in a paper towel. Sprinkle the prawns generously with rock sold and set aside for 20 min.

Heat the pan and add olive oil. Add the chopped pieces of birds eye chilli and garlic and fry on low flame. Once softened, add the prawns and cook. Turn the prawns every 2 min so that it’s cooked thoroughly. Add a pinch of parsley and fry for 1 more min. Now add the boiled spaghetti and toss everything together, add a bit more parsley and salt and pepper.

That’s it. You are done.

Tip: I cook this dish on low flame throughout because it cooks the prawns thoroughly.
