Very few things in life give me as much as joy as potatoes. I mean, they are perfect! Bake it, fry it, mash it….ahhh….the things you can do are endless.
Potatoes are one true love when it comes to vegetables. I can eat it anytime, anywhere and with anything. Heck, I don’t even need anything! Give me fried potatoes and I will chirp like a happy bird.
That’s why the recipe I am about to share today is pure joy. It’s so simple and so delicious. And when it comes to comfort food, this is the mother ship.
You will need:
- 2 large potatoes
- Salt
- Olive Oil
Method:
- Par Boil the potatoes in salted water for 25 min.
- Cut them in equal width and length, smear with salt and olive oil.
- Bake in a cast iron pan at 180 degrees until crispy.
I prefer to keep the skin on as the potatoes turn out to be crispier than without. And yes, don’t wait for too long after taking it out of the oven or else, it will turn soggy.
