I once went to a party where the host served fruits for dessert. Yes, fruits. Now don’t get me wrong. I love fruits especially cold black grapes but I love traditional desserts more. But there’s a war against sugar these days and as a fitness blogger, I am expected to join this war to even lead it.
Excessive sugar is bad for you but desserts are delicious and I will never propagate quitting sugar completely. Whats the point of being super healthy if the sight of a chocolate cake makes you tremble in your boots?
Well, that’s why I prefer to modify my desserts like this Chocolate Mousse recipe. Trust me, it’s delicious but also high in protein so it acts as a perfectly satiating option.

- Pour into small glasses and chill for 2 hours.
I prefer to refrigerate the mousse in small shot glasses so it each glass serves as one portion.
