Why waste time with lengthy workout sessions when you can do an equally effective routine within 25 minutes? Gyms mean commitment. Which includes at least an hour to work out (it doesn’t make sense to do a 10 min workout in the gym, right?). And we haven’t even counted the prepping time which includes actually going to the gym, packing a gym bag, changing into gym clothes….yawn.
Not surprisingly, one of the main reason people don’t like to workout because it takes a lot of time to do. Or, So they thought.
If you are willing to sweat it out, all you need is just 25 minutes to get into shape and increase your fitness level. Not kidding! It’s actually quite simple; you workout for one minute with vigorous activity and push your heart rate to about 90 per cent of its maximum rate. Don’t know your heart rate? Get a basic guess of your maximum heart rate by subtracting your age from 220.
- Now that you are pumping after a minute, slow down for one minute because it’s time for recovery.
- Now repeat the process for 10 times for more and you will be surprised with the results.
- You don’t need the gym for this (thank god!) since it can be comfortably done in your living room and all you need is a good pair of shoes.
- You can use this for skipping, aerobics, plyometric or any number of cardiovascular workouts.
If you super motivated, you can setup a home gym and it will save you tons of time. Otherwise, there’s plenty of tools available online as well.
